No-gi grappling

No-gi clothing for grapplers with a day job

No-gi punishes loose fabric. Every seam gets loaded, every hem gets grabbed, and anything that stretches out stays stretched. Voima is built the other way round: close-fitting, high-recovery fabric that holds its shape through a full session — and reads as normal clothing the moment you step off the mat.

What you actually need

  • Shorts or leggings

No pockets, no zips, no drawstring tails to grab.

  • Fitted top

Flat seams, nothing loose enough to hook a finger.

  • Layer for after

Something that covers up without looking like gym kit.

Why fit matters more than logos

In no-gi your opponent uses whatever you give them. Baggy sleeves become handles; a loose waistband becomes a lever. Close-cut, high-recovery fabric removes those gifts without restricting the positions you actually need — inversions, deep half, standing scrambles.

We cut with gussets and articulated knees so range of motion comes from the pattern, not from extra fabric.

From mat to meeting

Most grapplers we design for train early, shower fast and go straight to work. That is why our pieces stay unbranded on the outside: the VC mark is small, the VOIMA wordmark stays off the chest, and the silhouettes are cut like clothes rather than fight merch.
